Week 6 is in the books and the perfect clubs are stacking up all across our high school landscape, with 90 leagues racing this fall and the title picture finally coming into focus. Port Huron (6-0) blanked nobody but doubled up every league opponent to clinch its first league title since 2023, a share of the Macomb Area Conference Blue. Sanford Meridian handled Harrison 42-14 to clinch a share of the Jack Pine Division 2 crown. The nail-biters stole the show. Holly edged Flushing 30-29, Oxford got by Adams 15-14 to avenge last season's 27-point loss, and Brighton escaped Dearborn 28-27. Howell survived Hartland 28-27 in overtime, while Pewamo-Westphalia (6-0) outlasted Fowler 34-28 in double OT for at least a share of the league. The bruisers left no doubt. Manchester poured it on Leslie 80-35, Springport buried Reading 61-8, and New Lothrop rolled Ovid-Elsie 49-14. Decatur (6-0), which has surrendered just 28 points over its last five games, downed Galesburg-Augusta 34-7.
