What a way to close it out, folks — our Tigers found a way in extra innings at Oracle Park, edging the Giants 3-1 in 10 to wrap a 7-2 run through a three-city West Coast swing. Riley Greene set up shop as the automatic runner in the 10th, and Hao-Yu Lee delivered the go-ahead knock with a pinch-hit single that we'll remember. Spencer Torkelson singled off Sam Hentges to make it 2-1, and Max Clark's groundout tacked on the insurance. Then came the arms: Kenley Jansen struck out the side in the ninth, and Tyler Holton slammed the door with a perfect 10th for his second save. Don't sleep on Troy Melton, either — the kid hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 20 innings, and he's given up two or fewer in 12 of 13 starts this year. That's the good stuff. Now we're 58-60, just 3.5 back in the Central, and riding a two-game winning streak back home. Next up: we host Tanner Bibee and the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday.
